Made infamous by Ralph Nader (American Politician). In American terms, a mid size family convertible. Very interesting and easy to maintain vehicle. Excellent runner with no accident damage. This car is nearing completion of a full restoration by ourselves. It has had all welding done (a very little thinning to the floors caused by soggy soundproofing) and a complete respray. It has new carpets and a new hood. We have just finished the complete rebuild of the engine, including crank grind, new pistons, new barrels, re-conditioned cylinder heads and powder coated tinware. This has to be the best Corvair in the UK (unless you know different)!
