1926 Humber 12/25

Unfortunately you've missed this interesting and unusual car!  It has left us for pastures new, that's why Bernie is waving goodbye!  At the time this car was built the motor industry was still in it’s infancy, and many different ideas were being tried out, for instance, in this car, the side windows are made in two pieces of glass, hinged at opposing corners, which fold down into the panel of each door, disguised once closed, with, effectively, a narrow lid, which lies across the top of the door once the windows are folded away.  A very simple and novel idea that did not remain in use for long. Other features include a cone clutch. The 1795cc engine runs well. Very spacious and attractive interior,  it earns it’s keep as a good wedding car.
