The same age as our Corvan, this is one of the original people carriers!  The interior seating is similar to the Volkswagen minibus, with this one you can turn the bench seat to face forward or backwards, so you can set up a “chat room” in the back, or seat more folk for forward facing travel.  With the double doors in the side access is very easy, you could even carry a set of caravan steps to make getting in and out a doddle!  The same flat 6 air-cooled 2.4 litre rear mounted engine as the other Corvairs have makes for inexpensive American style motoring, and you can take the whole family out too, with room for all their luggage as well!  We have only recently brought this one over from the States, so it is not yet UK registered, not a problem, but we haven’t found time yet.  Once that is done, it will be entitled to free road tax. It will need some prettying up to be the best it can be, but even now, this is a very use-able motor.
